Dutch Disease

Finally, I have found the definition and some historical evidence for what I think its wrong with Kazakhstan today. Its economy is infested with Dutch Disease and it means that an economy grows at a very fast pace (9.8%) by selling its natural resources to the rest of the world. Which artificially boosts image of a country but does not advance a society in any way. There is no investments in business development, or lowering the unemployment rate(~20%), or increasing the average income per capita (~$1000 ). I am not even mentioning what happens to the environment, since Kazakhstan wants to become #1 in uranium and coal production. But most importantly, there is no initiave from Kazakhstani government to (fully) support my grandma (77) who lived in Temirtau.
